xxxThe museum board sends our greetings. We welcome in the New Year and ask for your support with yearly membership renewal.

xxxWe had a busy year with the addition of our new military display case. We now have local Civil War memorabilia on display and we think you will find it very interesting when you visit. Another addition to our collections is the medical bag and contents of Dr. Chance who lived and worked here in 1942-1967. We recently got a barber chair that Doc. Beauchamp used. Many of you may have sat in it years ago. We would love pictures if you have any.

xxxBill and Carol Klopfenstein spent their summer constructing a 1/4th replica of the Curtis Flyer model D Biplane that landed here in 1911 at the fair. Thanks to Jean and Gary Miller for all their help on this project too. It is really something to see and on display at the museum.

xxxWe plan another Railroad program on Mon., Feb. 20 at 1:00 P.m. at the school. It is open to the public. Other programs are being developed and will be announced in the Beacon and on KILJ when finalized. Your support is why we do this and keeps us going.

xxxBarb Long is a wonderful addition to the board and we welcomed her in 2011. After many years of hard work we said good-bye to Judith Robinette as our webmaster. We sure miss her but are very happy to announce Terry Phelps as the new webmaster. Good luck Terry!

xxxPlease take a few minutes and visit us on any Monday from 10:00-12:00 or call Judy Rawson 257-6974 and we will arrange to open anytime. We just might surprise you with all the local history that is stored in your museum!
